Giovanni Bez is an emerging film editor and author based between Bolzano and Berlin.
In 2025, he graduated from the ZeLIG School for Documentary in the Editing class. Following his studies, he refined his professional experience during the post-production of the feature documentary "The Loom" (dir. Helene Kvale, exec. prod. James Ivory), working alongside internationally renowned editors Anne Fabini and Martin Reimers.
His work as an editor has been featured in international festivals, including Visioni dal Mondo (Milan) and Zlín Film Festival (CZ). As a director, his short film, “Bostrico”, was selected by the Trento Film Festival (Italy).
He combines technical rigor (Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve) with a deep sensitivity for cinema of the real.
